About Sloane

Sloane Hill graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in 2008. After graduating, she moved out to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked in a million bakeries and restaurants for amazing people including Elizabeth Faulkner, Alice Waters and Mary Canales. In 2012 she took the plunge and created Rolling Sloane’s, starting out as a wholesale baker supplying coffee shops around the East Bay. In 2015, some of her best friends in the world built her the iconic Rolling Sloane’s cart, now on display every Saturday morning at the Del Ray farmer’s market. In 2021, she moved to Del Ray to be closer to family, where she and her husband now run the bakery out of the home they share with their 3 kiddos.
